MyHorseVet online (MHVO)

MyHorseVet online is an online directory. MHVO does NOT provide veterinary services. Veterinary clinics purchase a monthly subscription to advertised and provide telehealth services through the MHVO website. Veterinarians are not employees nor independent contractors of MHVO. Payment for booked vet appointments are transferred directly to clinics in whole. MHVO does not collect any payment or percentage of payment for veterinary services.

MHVO does not guarantee the booking of any services through this website. Clinics are in control of who is eligible to book an appointment with them.

MHVO is not responsible for nor treats horse emergencies. Clinics are responsible for alerting their clients regarding the availability of in-person veterinary care.

Clinics are within their own rights to cancel your appointment and refuse you an appointment as they see necessary.

MHVO does not monitor nor govern the quality of veterinary medicine provided by clinic veterinarians. Clinics are responsible for maintaining their own adherence to the law, and conducting veterinary medicine in the manner in which they see fit.

MHVO does not provide prescriptions or sell pharmaceuticals. Clinics may offer to provide prescriptions at their discretion and will dispense them and invoice their clients for them independently of MHVO.

For General Advice Chat appointments, no patient information is collected, no examination is conducted, and no treatment is provided. When a veterinarian provides general advice to an individual that is not specific to their animal and could be applied to many animals, this is not considered practising via telemedicine.

Any persons booking an appointment with a veterinarian must be 18 years of age or older.

Privacy Policy

Video conferencing is provided by ZOOM Communications whereby all video and audio recording has been disabled. There is no AI, written, or recorded copy of video conferencing. All medical records of veterinary services are the property of the attending veterinarian.

Personal information (of the booking person and horse information) is not collected for any other purpose then to forward to the veterinarian at time of appointment booking. The veterinarian uses this information to identify their client and patient and complete medical records. MHVO does not disclose or distribute personal information otherwise to any party or individuals.

SimplyBook.me is acting as MHVO's supplier, processing personal data in line with their Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement.
